This website, engineeringexec.tech, is a personal blog run by Michael Bleterman. It's a non-commercial project where I share thoughts on engineering leadership, software architecture, and R&D management.

What Data I Collect and Why

I use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with this site — which pages are popular, how visitors find the site, and general usage patterns. This helps me improve the content.

Spam Protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam submissions.

How Long I Keep Your Data

- Analytics data: retained in Google Analytics for 14 months (Google's default), then automatically deleted.
- Contact form submissions: retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, then deleted.

This site is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided me with personal data, please contact me and I will promptly delete it.
